Carol Katz has dedicated herself to the betterment of others for as long as she can remember.  Over the past two decades, her experiences have included volunteering on the first aid squad and domestic violence intervention team. 

Several years ago, she attempted to place a loved one in an assisted living community.  Meanwhile, friends who were going through the same situation called upon her for help.  As she joined them on every tour and helped with the research, she realized a void that needed to be filled.  She, in partnership with her daughter, Dina Frauwirth, created Adult Care Advisors in 2009 to give families an opportunity to obtain free advice on elder care placement.    

Prior to Adult Care Advisors, Dina had been working as the Marketing Director of a Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in New York.   This was the position she held for the past five years. She saw Adult Care Advisors as a great opportunity to use her experience with seniors and compassion to help families in need. 

Based out of New Jersey, Adult Care Advisors is a service for clients and families who need advice about senior care.  They will proactively guide families through the entire placement process and facilitate smooth transitions into communities.   They currently can help with family placement nationwide.
When a senior is placed, Adult Care Advisors stays connected with the family.  Should there be any concerns, Adult Care Advisors will pass along the feedback to keep residents happy and preserve the community’s reputation.
